Established in 1973, the hospital has a proud history of providing quality and consistent maternity, medical and surgical care for the community.
In 2006, Attadale was acquired by Ramsay Health Care, Australia’s largest private hospital group. Ramsay owns hospitals throughout Australia, Indonesia, the United Kingdom and France and supports Attadale with a robust framework of corporate governance.
Over the decades, the demographics and healthcare needs of the local community have evolved. In 2015, Attadale changed its focus to rehabilitation to cater for the community’s changing needs and at midnight on 31 July closed its maternity and surgical services. From 1 August 2015, Attadale Private Hospital began a new era as Attadale Rehabilitation Hospital, the only fully serviced stand-alone private rehabilitation facility south of the river.
