Rehabilitation provides the care, therapy and support needed to assist you towards attaining maximum independence.
At Attadale Rehabilitation Hospital, we have teams of dedicated, specialist staff who provide a variety of rehabilitation programs including cardiac, orthopaedic, neurological including minor stroke, falls prevention, pulmonary and reconditioning. The programs are provided on an inpatient basis.
What does inpatient rehabilitation involve?
On admission to Attadale Rehabilitation Hospital you will be assessed by a multidisciplinary team who will establish an individualised plan of therapy in consultation with you. Together, realistic goals will be set.
A medical specialist will oversee your therapy program and monitor your progress in conjunction with other team members. The nurse in charge will co-ordinate your care and is available to discuss any concerns that may arise. Nursing care is provided 24 hours a day. Physiotherapy is provided 6 days a week, and occupational therapy 6 days a week.
Depending on your needs, you may require assistance from any of the following team members:
